Privacy & Data Protection

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 · Committed to absolute data privacy and zero server storage.

1. Zero Server Upload Architecture

Docsworker was founded on the fundamental belief that users should never have to compromise their privacy to convert or edit documents. Unlike traditional online tools that require uploading your documents to remote cloud servers, every tool on Docsworker executes 100% client-side inside your own web browser.

When you select a file (PDF, Word-derived text, JPG, PNG, or scan), the file is read directly into your device's local memory (RAM) via standard browser APIs. It is processed locally and exported straight to your downloads folder. Docsworker has no backend server component that receives, inspects, stores, or logs your file contents. We cannot access, view, or recover any document you work with.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

Docsworker uses browser local storage exclusively for your convenience, such as remembering your preferred dark or light color theme. This information never leaves your device and contains no personally identifiable data. When you close or refresh your browser tab, all temporary memory used by document canvases is immediately cleared by your operating system.

3. Advertising & Third-Party Ad Partners

To keep all 12 tools completely free without charging subscriptions or adding watermarks, Docsworker may display advertising (banners and a small social bar) served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. These third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Ads are never shown on the Privacy or Contact pages, and there is no pop-up or countdown before you download your file.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or AboutAds.info. Important Note: Advertisements on Docsworker never have access to, and are completely isolated from, the local document processing occurring inside your browser.

4. Third-Party Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)

To run advanced browser-based tools such as PDF rendering and OCR, Docsworker loads battle-tested, open-source libraries (e.g., Mozilla PDF.js, Tesseract.js, jsPDF) from public, reputable content delivery networks (Cloudflare CDNjs, jsDelivr). Loading these scripts shares only standard web-browser telemetry (such as your IP address and user-agent string), which is customary for any website on the internet.

5. Children's Online Privacy Protection

Docsworker does not collect personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13.
