How to Add a Signature to a PDF Without Printing
Add Signature lets you sign a PDF or image on your device. Type your name and pick a handwritten-style font, or draw your signature with a mouse, stylus or finger. Choose an ink color, then place the signature on the page you need.
Drag it to the right spot and use the blue handle to resize it. You can move between pages of a multi-page document and place it wherever a signature is required. PDF, PNG and JPG files are supported.
- Drop a PDF or image onto the page.
- Type your name or draw your signature, then pick an ink color.
- Choose the page and drag the signature into position.
- Resize it with the handle, then click Download signed file.
This adds a visual signature to the document. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, so check whether the person or office receiving it requires a specific e-signature service. Your file is handled in your browser and is never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I draw my signature?
Yes. Use Draw Signature with a mouse, stylus or touchscreen, or type your name and choose a signature font.
Is this a legally binding digital signature?
It places a picture of your signature on the document. Whether that is enough depends on the recipient, so check if they need a certified e-signature.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Signing happens in your browser, and the document stays on your device.
